About the Event
The Joint Ceremony for the Buddha Day, Mother’s Day and Tzu Chi 56th Anniversary
In conjunction with Buddha Day, Mother's day and its 56th anniversay,
Tzu Chi holds a joint Ceremony worldwide to celebrate this auspicious day.
By demonstrating the beauty of Buddhist ritual, we wish everyone a peaceful moment to express gratitude to the Buddha, our parents and all sentient beings. At the same time we gather kind thoughts and be free from afflictions.
We hope the Buddha's Bathing Ceremony serves as a reminder to rediscover our latent nature from within and
encourages the practice of love and kindness, the essence of Buddhism, in everyday life.
Let's join together on this special day and pray for the world.
