About the Event
A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, killing more than 5,000 people and wounding 32,000. It destroyed 8,000 buildings. It was the most severe earthquake in the region for 80 years. Tzu Chi is calling for your help for the survivors.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to relief efforts in the affected area. Tzu Chi is now holding series of distribution to provide supermarket gift cards and other relief supplies, ensuring the survivors can get through the tough times. Tzu Chi is also working on mid term to long term projects, including construction of schools and permanent housing.
