Cambridge Tzu Chi volunteers has been serving hot drinks weekly at the Arbury Community Fridge from December 2020 to January 2021. 8 volunteers gave their time standing by food hub guests in the wintry weather.
Mr Andrew Terentjev, CEO of Cambridge Smart Plastics, had the opportunity volunteering with us at the last session. He spoke about this particular experience: "while we wait for the big game changer, spread a little happiness where you can."
Ms Yin Chang, a PhD researcher, has been here every session, said "the receiving of smiles from guests warms me internally, and I feel more connected."
Tzu Chi volunteers also express sincere gratitude to the Church Of The Good Shepherd for providing the best support at the premises.
